We ate there on Sunday, Dec. 1. They accepted us with no reservations in the middle of a severe snow storm. The waitress was fantastic. The food was fabulous. We were celebrating a birthday for my twin grandkids in witch another restaurant had let us down without informing us. Thank you to a very professional staff
Stopped in to visit family and service was great, with food arriving quickly. The pinched potatoes were amazing and a large amount for only 2. The french toast, yogurt with berries, and omelette were all quite tasty and pretty inexpensive considering we were at The Lodge. Have already told others they should give it a try!!
We were quite surprised at how good the food was. I had the fish and chips and my husband had a filet with blue cheese, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Even the bread to start off with was awesome.
Stopped into Horizons for dinner and had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, and our server, Rachel, was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and made the evening even better. Great food, excellent service—we’ll definitely be back!
We enjoyed an absolutely perfect meal at Horizons Restaurant! Amanda was fantastic and made sure we had everything we wanted. The menu offers finer options than we usually have and we enjoyed the new experience. The pretzels and beer cheese were the best I’ve ever had.
Jessica did a great job and was very attentive to our table. She immediately asked if we were out for the night and gave us some great recommendations for places to hit around town(4 girls in our 20s for a weekend trip) Food was satisfying but nothing worth writing about. Atmosphere was a little too quiet. Would’ve enjoyed music or something to make it less stuffy although we did come at a slower hour.
My family couldn't celebrate Thanksgiving at home this year, so I researched some alternatives. The Lodge looked like the best option. It exceeded my expectations, and in fact it couldn't have been any better. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all top-notch. If you find yourself in a similar situation, checking out restaurant options for Thanksgiving, stop looking, this is the place to go.
Ate here for Christmas Day! The view and proximity to the fireplace could not be beat for a Christmas dinner. The location is unlike any other in Ohio along the lake. There was a special menu for the holiday and the food was unbelievably delicious. Unique flavor combos and fresh ingredients made for a truly unforgettable meal! The service was slightly rushed for the majority of the meal and then we had to wait for dessert but it was the holiday. If their regular menu is anything close to this we will be back.
